For those who have achieved into the third phase of training and wish to dedicate their lives for an extended period of years to the continued development of the third phase of training, there is a unique option.

In the interest of cultivating excellent beings throughout the world, the Threefold Lotus Kwoon will offer two options to those who qualify and have proven commitment and dedication to the mission of the Kwoon.

Option 1

1. Become an instructor and work with Sifu Sylvain at the Kwoon to raise at least three other students from novice first phase through to one year of third phase training.
2. Then become a lead instructor to help train groups at a new location
3. After two years as a lead instructor you will have the opportunity to run this branch of the Kwoon with only a twenty percent responsibility to the main Kwoon. The main Kwoon will offer support in teaching, demonstration, and other ways defined by agreement
4. After five years, the lead instructor is promoted to Sifu and becomes totally independent of the main Kwoon financially. We, of course, desire to keep a very close relationship with all schools branches to offer cross travel opportunities, tournaments, and demonstrations.

Option 2

1. Become a Kwoon apprentice
2. An apprentice effectively consolidates all life activities to the Kwoon and brings any assets financial or otherwise to the Kwoon for integration. The apprentice will then take a daily responsibility in the chores and activities of the kwoon
3. The apprentice will live on Kwoon grounds in a small housing or dormitory setting.
4. The apprentice will be required to take part in all activities such as but not limited to, meditation, farming, building, maintenance, office duties, and instruction of novice students
5. If at some point the apprentice wishes to transfer into the instructor path, he or she may do so only with the approval of the Sifu
